Mock ups-magazine covers and content pages

The image is full size over the page with the writing over the top of the image making it all go together well.The coverlines are spread out so the main focus is the image still being able to see the information clearly.This is also,designed based on very little text and a  just one cover image which is based on the results of the questionnaire.

This also matches with results of the  questionnaire however, adding a tagline above the masthead and placing the main cover-lines at the bottom right hand side which I've seen feature on many other magazine covers and making separate to any other text to allow it to be clear to the reader more effectively.

This structure is inspired by one of the content pages i had analysed.There are small separate pictures which fits in with what the results of the questionaire. This provides a clear separation between the pictures and information.  

This picture is also inspired by a pages i had looked that in terms of pictures with the relating article slightly overlapping the picture.This also, uses idea of a few small images and blue boxes where used to represent the area in which the image and information would be inputted.

This shows that the arial is most preferred and batang was the last popular out of the choice.

This shows that a number of people would read the magazine monthly giving me a clearer idea about what the dateline should say.

This shows that the most preferred colour scheme was red and white which fits with the schools colours.

This also, fits in with my opinion that the cover would be more effective with only one image.

This gives me an idea about the layout of the cover.

This also, finds in with my opinion as well which confirms that others think the same.

I was intially unsure about the size the content page with this knowledge of what other people want I am able to decide that the content page would be just a one page spread.

This co-sides with my opinion of how the layout of the page should be.

I asked the second question so i had a better idea of what would be an appropriate issue date.

Using the colour testing i had an idea of what colours i would possibly use and i wanted to see what people would prefer.

I personally prefer to have one image however, i wanted to see whether this idea is shared with others.

A few cover-lines and one other image

Which will help gain an idea of what is the most ideal layout of the cover.

Initial ideas

Me and my groups initial thoughts for our magazine:

• Our magazine is for a secondary school and used to persuade people to come to the school.
• The colour scheme of the magazine will be the same of the school colours as it is about the school.
• The format will be formal but interesting .
• Cover will be eye capturing and have a main background picture 
• also, with some small pictures connected to the basis on whats on the cover.
• The main background picture will have to coordinate with the font especially the colour as we want to have just the writing on top of the photo instead of a separate shapes for it to be separated by the piece which will make it more coordinative and fit together nicely.
• A range of information for secondary school and the sixth form. 
• Use other magazines to help bulid up an idea of what would look good.
